Located within Falkbuilt’s 90,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility, Falknest is a timber structure designed to integrate workspace and production into a single environment. Positioned at the centre of the factory floor, it supports collaboration while maintaining direct visual and physical connection to the manufacturing process. Constructed from sustainably sourced Swiss spruce and over 700 precision timber connections, the project utilizes Digital Component Construction to achieve efficiency, accuracy, and expressive form. A central timber stair anchors the space, while angled glazing and acoustic strategies address the challenges of a high-performance industrial setting. Functioning as both a workplace and client-facing environment, Falknest demonstrates a contemporary approach to building—where architecture, fabrication, and technology are seamlessly aligned.
